I call my carvings “peeps”, each unique and full of character. I start with a general idea of where I’m going, but often veer off course based on whimsy. Peg Martinez (aka Square Peg)
Peg’s peeps all have such distinct personalties. I keep them by my jewelry workspace to get inspired and enjoy imagining backstories for all of them. And they all tell me I’m doing a good job!
